#1 Post by Robk »

Ballyconneely. Dunloughin area
Started
2 hours before high tide
Used macks and squid
Plagued by doggies but good craic all same
Fished for about 3.5 hours and pulled 8 doggies
Tried for a few wrasse (gunners ) a bit further north along the rougher shore but no joy
Anyone Gettin any ray in the locality
Cheers

hi Robk, its great to see the doggies when the fishing is quite, most of the ray will have moved out to deeper water by now but you might get a odd one if you fish deeper marks,i have seen ray caught in every month bar December around connemara,i can pm you a few marks that might be worth a try
