Results:1 Flounder.
Report:Myself and 8 others fished the Coalquay on Saturday afternoon we drove down from County Dublin to fish a club competition from 13.15pm until 18.15pm with only 1 Flounder caught. The flounder was not very big it was only 35cm and i caught it.The weather was bright and sunny with little or no wind but there was some weed in the channel so i stayed in cloes casting out about 20 foot and that is where i caught the 1 and only Flounder,we should have brought some light gear and floats because there was a lot of Mullet in the weed along the shore line.It was a long way to go for 1 Flounder.......Some of us will try it again soon........

Long way to go alright but we have all been there!!! Probably a little early for that neck of the woods. I hope to get down there over the xmas for a flounder session...

Re: Coalquay Wexford (13 oct)
I would guess that there might be a bit tto much rain in the system after the recent weather. It seems to mess the flounder fishing up big time.
