SAISAC final shore comp will be held on Youghal beach on the 20th of October from 16:30 to 21:30.

Jay, if I'm doing a round trip on the day you can have a lift. However, I may be staying in Wexford that weekend due to family commitments.

first post here, only getting into sea fishing- lots to learn!! Live in cork city, not joined any club yet.... which would be closet? Would it be ok to tag along or enter?


2012 shore species : mackerel, pollack, 1st flounder(3), 1st european eel, 1st bass(52cm :) )

Hello there Mr. Mac,

Welcome to the site. Unfortunately this is a closed competition, ie. only open to club members. However you would be more than welcome to come along and fish along side us. You could chat with the lads and maybe pick up a few tips.

There are some top clubs in the Cork area or failing that you could join up with us for next year. We fish all over the country.
