Greystones - South Beach - Saturday 12th Nov 2005

#1 Post by John D »

People: Me, my dad and my brother

Duration: 18.30 to 11.15

Tide: High at 20.38

Weather: Extremely blustery and cold

Bait: fresh rag, fresh lug, frozen and fresh peeler and fresh mussel.

Rigs: 2 hook paternoster

Results: Between us we had 9 tiny coalfish, 2 tiny rockling and 1 half decent whiting.

Report: I was absolutely itching to get out. Although the result wasn't great it was still a thoroughly enjoyable session. A good laugh with my dad and brother. There were a few other anglers along the beach too. There were two men near the rocks on the South Beach in a little tent and there were further flurries of light all along the beach.
