Most accurate site used to predict the tide?

I use easytide for the tides but I have often found it to be off, sometimes I go at high and the water is already well gone out or I there way to early and it hasn't turned. What to others use that reliably predict the tides??

I use planet sea fishing and its always been spot on.

I give that a go so guys.

There is a 1hr 20m difference in Easytide and your link so one of them has to be close , i'll see tonight .

You need to change the time on easytide for daylight saving. It has the option to do it on the page.

i use easytide all the time and its always spot on but thats just for howth. as your based in wexford there are big differences between places. for example i fish clones strand a lot what tide do i follow courtown or arklow? they are both 7 miles away. courtown is showing high water at 7.30 am and arklow showing 8.00 i can safely say if i went down to clone the tide would be flat out at these times. i think you will find you need to try 2 or 3 different tide places to dephicer which beach is correspondant to each tide.in other words no point in going on a tide for wexford town and fishing ballymoney.you need to find 2 or 3 different points THE DIFFERENCE IN WEXFORD HARBOUR AND COURTOWN IS 4 HOURS

Probably a stupid question but I was wondering just what forces are at work that makes such a time difference in water heights possible on a single countys coastline..................

5. Why are the tides not the same all round the coast of Britain?

You might expect that as Britain passes under the bulge of water, time of high water would be roughly the same for all points on the coast, but it isn't. The problem is caused by the land that 'gets in the way' of the moving water. As the earth rotates, the water has to move to generate the high tides but because of the shape of coastlines and the variation in sea depth (bathymetry), there is a lag. Every location has a unique coastline and bathymetry - which gives each location its unique tidal pattern.

Guess I'll answer that one myself..

Planetseafishing is the best I think, I've used some others and they were quite nice too, but this one never let me down

Yeah but that's for sailing, probably wouldn't work for fishing............

Definately not accurate. I downloaded them for Belfast at the start of the year then when I compared them to the Belfast Harbour tidetables later I noticed they could be as much as 50 mins out.
