Size of fish

Just wondering can anyone tell the weight of this smooth hound have to buy a scales.. Defentley the biggest iv got...

5 or 6 lb i would guesstimate nice catch off the beach and a good scrap i,d say 8) get a scales!!! :lol:

I would have thought 6 to 7.5lb, possibly even pushing close to 8lb. I'm not great at guessing but it looks very chunky!

Thanks thought it was between 7 and 8 meself.. It's the biggest fish iv caught so far so delighted,wot ever the weight of it is...:)

Just checked a pic of me holding one I caught last year which was 99cm and he came in at 6.85lbs. Yours looks better fed than my one :wink:
