Report:We decided to have a fishing week because i havent been out for a long time now. so we got the gear together and headed to lift the nephew who is in this months sea angler magazine for young rods competition, with the ray he caught in lough swilly in june. so he was over the moon with that.

FIRST MARK (ROCKS) 2,days

We made our way to the mark and i seen other anglers fishing so i asked how they got on and i got cheecky answer back as in what the f.... is it to u anyway. i didnt answer back and avoided them the rest of the session. obvouisly they wernt doin to well   we set up and neil was the first to hit into fish dogs were on the feed. we all had dogfish the whole night. useually i complain about dogs but this time i enjoyed every minute of it cause i hadnt been out this long time. the next day we fished but unfortunitly blanked so it was time to move on.

2ND MARK (HARBOUR) 1 DAY

We made our way to the second mark and we tryed our hand at some mullet fishing we had lite gear with small hooks and feeding with bread and mackerel. the tide was running in but all we were getting was small pollock, pouting , and wrasse and 1 im not sure off. (pic below)
So me and the bro packed up and watched the nephew catching the small fish wich he enjoyed but as soon as we had my nephew hit into a mullet. couldnt believe it but when we rushed to get set up again they had left. :x :x i was glad the nephew got 1 anyway.

3RD MARK (ROCKS) 2DAYS

The sun was beating down so we headed to the rock mark and i was after mackerel hit four but none came after so we all tryed to get a conger wiith rotton bottom rigs. neil got a massive hit the conger was on i went down to grab the trace and it snaped he had bit through 80lb mono. :x trust me ill be using 30 lb wire trace for now on. shortly after i hit into a bull huss which was an added bonus. :D :D we fired out the pulley rigs close into the weed and we were hitting coallies and pollock and i lifted a 3 bearded rockling. second day was dissapointing with only 2 dogs being caught.

that ended the trip we had sum craic and all round it was great fishing. and the nephew beat us all on fish. :D :D
