26/07/2012 Roches point

People:Myself

Duration:3hrs

Tide:2hrs before 1hr after

Weather:Fair

Bait:Lures all sorts

Rigs:lures

Results:1 mackerel

Report: Headed down to the point and set up on a nice little edge under the lighthouse. Quite a strong wind coming from behind me so was a good advantage for casting the lighter lures out further. Only went with the spinning rod so not to bulk myself up carrying rods. Got 1 mackerel fairly early on in the session and a good size one too.
Thought my luck was going to change here but unfortunately that was the lot for the session.

Lost 4 lures during the session but its to be expected. One of the spoons i lost ive had since i was 7yrs old ...but hey only a lure. Only other problem was i put a hole in my neoprene waders climbing down the rocks so got to try and find somewhere to get a repair for them ....otherwise i may be skinny dipping on next session lol
Catches for 2012: Pollock, Mackerel, Dogfish, Sea Trout, Ballen Wrasse

And more to come on the end of my line ............

bad luck on the waders, but you can fix them yourself, depending on the size that is.... there is a glue you can buy from most tackle shops.
