People:Me Neil & Davey
Duration:13.30-21.30
Tide:Flooding
Weather:Fair
Bait:Lug Rag & Peeler
Rigs:Flappers
Results:7 Mullet & Countless Flounders
Report:Just a wee short report.....Was busting my arse to get out for a few fish. Went out on the hunt for Flounder and ended up getting my first ever Mullet! At the first mark i had 4 mullet and a Flounder and Neil had 3 Mullet. The tide started pushing hard so we moved to our second mark and met up with the father in law. Things were slow enough until the top of the tide then it was more or less a fish a cast. Would loved to have stayed but was starving!! Lol! The fight from the Mullet was brilliant and was made even better fighting them in the shallow water we were fishing. The Mullet took rag and peeler and the flounder took anything we threw at them. Looking forward to the next trip already!
