Re: state of our waters
I find it interesting nobody has commented on this. Onriginaly from the US, I moved to Ireland 16 years ago. In that time I have seen Ireland change to the multi racial culture we have today. The foreigners have done more to improve this country than anyone. I think its time for attitudes to change for the positive. I'd much rather run into a group of polish fishing which happily share the space rather then farmer locals who run you for fun. I don't agree with anyone harming the ocean, regardless of country or race.
I spend allot of time sea fishing in remote western areas of the country, These areas too are full of litter. We need to clean up our country. In my opinion all the able bodied unemployed should be required to work at least 1 day per week to clean up these areas and perform other tasks that need to be done. Not everything can be done for profit, somethings just need to get done.

But why should the unemployed clean up after the dirty fekkers who dump their s*** wherever they go?mojo wrote:I find it interesting nobody has commented on this. Most of the spots I fish are covered in the crap the "fishermen" leave behind. I hate litterbugs and they should be hounded and shamed.

Re: state of our waters
If this is to do with fshing only, this is the silliest comment Ive seen on here in a long time. Someone seems to be just throwing a trout to catch a Salmon and get us all annoyed!!!yappo wrote:I am glad to see anyone help our country in any way possible but what the hell is this comment based on?The foreigners have done more to improve this country than anyone
