I have 30 Mariner (from 90) with auto lube and i want to disconnect them and run premix rather. Has anyone here done this before on these models that could advise me. do i need a special kit for this

As far as I know you have to disconnect the alarm sensor or the float in the tank and remove the oil pump shaft. Having said that it will work but I don't recommend it, the pumps are designed to give the right amount of oil at the right amount of rpm so it would be better to sort out any problem you have with the oil pump instead of converting to pre-mix. Just my two cents :D
