#1 Post by saving private brian »

People:me and a mate

Duration:22.00pm-23,30pm

Tide:lw @ 20.11pm

Weather:smashing at first then came the rain

Bait:mack sandeels,rag

Rigs:flappers

Results:seatrouts and flats

Report:not writing a massive detailed report  .a mate has being asking me to bring him beach fishing for a while now as he does more of the rocks and rivers.gave him a brief lecture the other day on what basics to bring  brought his new rod and gear and got him set up..showed him the ins and outs once there and he took to it well.after ten minutes he got his first trout and then he got flats.we both ended up with roughly the same amout of fish.no surf but nice to see a good few trouts knocking about.good to see a new beach angling prospect arising from my town aswell

cheers lads

the gillplates are more angular on a bass but I looked twice after your post :D
