Decided to try diging my own bait.
I am living in wicklow so if there is any good spots in wicklow or Dublin. I tryed out at dollymount strand were the old salt water pool use to be but found the worms a bit on the small side so if anyone has any suggestions it would be most helpful.
Cheers

Re: diging bait
i take it its lug your after? you want to go out futher the big worms tend to be out a bit more its just a matter of finding a good bed ,out near poolbeg can be good but you will just have to find them, off blackrock and booterstown is good for big ones but its hard work as you are digging single worms not trench digging and they are deep ,to be honest for the sake of a 10 spot for 40 worms in your local tackle shop its money well spent,no sore back no petrol to pay for and more fishing time

You could try Wicklow lug bed. It is a few hundred yards north of the new port bridge. Need to add two hours to the low tide Dublin ( three in the summer).
So 9am low tide Dublin then 11-12 noon at Wicklow
