catching sea trout,and waterford area

any tips at all for catching these lads?i never caught one,amongst alot of other species,but i hear of a few being caught?any around the waterford coast?Saleens r woodstown r that??any fish being caught around the flat rocks,havnt heard much in way of reports lately. But going back to sea trout,any tips,what spinners,etc to use??anything at all would be great!

They are out of season at the mo, but the best time is usually april or may in the sea in most places before they run the rivers
