People: Me and Fra
Duration: 6.30pm-11.30pm
Tide:
Weather: Light Wind & Dry
Bait: Rag and mack
Rigs: 2 and 3 hook flappers
Results: Crabs, Crabs and more Crabs and a very small Flounder.
Report:
It was the first time I've been out in over 2 years so I was really looking forward to it. It didnt start too well because I forgotten my Head Lamp and then my missus text me asking if I had wanted to leave my mackerel on the kitchen table!!
Anyway, it was very slow going with hooks coming back stripped or a crab attached. Fra did manage a very small Flounder but that was about it.
There were a few other guys fishing but they were having a bad time of it too. With only very small flounder and a small Codling caught.

I feel your pain dude
Its been blankety blank this last while except for the LSD fest last week on Waterfoot pier with Nialk. There were a few guys fishing on the beach that evening but no reports posted.
Going to have a last batter off the rocks this week and then hopefully the beaches will get back into gear
Best of luck,
Monty

I'm no expert but I'd suggest you try of the rocks in that area. I've had 2 reasonable (not great) sessions in that neck of the woods.

Thanks for the tip, I've fished the rocks before and might give it another go. I really just think its the time of year and its only a matter of time before things get back to normalnobuzz wrote:I'm no expert but I'd suggest you try of the rocks in that area. I took a few pics and I should have left the camera at home, we would have caught something....
