what braid?
hello lads, always used mono but the last few times ive been out there have been strong tides and the line was heading well back. what braid make and strength would ye recommend for me? the rod is a grauvell 20lb ringless type and reel is a penn 525 mag. mainly pollack fishing i do. thanks

berkley whiplash crystal is good I believe I know alot of guys use it 50lb

Yip I'd agree with Cathal here, The berkley Whiplash crystal is very good, I use 50lb for wreck fishing, down to 30lb for inshore Pollock and wrasse, highly recomend it.cathald wrote:berkley whiplash crystal is good I believe I know alot of guys use it 50lb

cheers lads, all info welcome. ill see do they have whiplash or spiderwire in the shop. put braid on a salmon spinning rod a few years back it went in the fire after the first outing!
