football jig head for texas rigging

#1 Post by ATF »

Anyone know why it so difficult to get a football or ball jig head for texas rigging. looking for 7-15g and sz 2-4 hook for big Xlayer and Slug-go finding it v difficult to get my hands on them online here and in uk. The zipper worm company in US do exactly what im looking for, just cant find them anywhere here.

regarding hard lures, a lot of the lures are 3 treble and give lots of problems unhooking with every barb usually stuck in a fish. i do pinch the barbs down for ease of removal - with 3 treble lures, is it recommended to remove the middle or top treble or does it ruin the action of the lure....?
