Fishing competitions?

#1 Post by IDPearl »

Hi,

New to this game. Where can I find out when a fishing competition is on? I particularly want to see just to get some tips for my beach-casting.

Thanks,

Ian

Fishing Competitions

If you look up the IFSA web site you will get information on the Governing body of Sea Fishing. This may give you the names of clubs in Ireland and your area. If not go into a local tackle shop and get some details. If you become an IFSA member by joining a local club you will get a Diary which contains all the club names in the country and you can join the one of your choice. This will help you to meet other anglers and get to know venues, bait required, and times to fish. By being an IFSA member you can fish in any Open Shore competition in any province. Hope this info helps you get started
