Rostonstown Sat 17th

People:Me Jason + 2 others

Duration:5 hours

Tide:2 hours drop 3 hours incoming

Weather:Fair

Bait:Lug,Razor,Crab.

Rigs:All types

Results:Me 1 LSD & 1 Flounder.




Report:We left Dublin at 14.10pm and headed down to Rostonstows beach Wexford on Saturday for some fishing we got there at 16.25pm and started fishing within 15mins.But we should have stayed at home because all we got was WEED,WEED,& WEED and lots of it,i was the only 1 not 2 blank this outing as i caught 1 LSD and 1 small Flounder of 26cm wow the other 3 Blanked,Not to worry we will fish it again later next month......

everytime ive fished that beach all i have got was weed... well, a few fish as well!
Not the BigPhil from Irish Angler mag, I'm the original, i swear!!!!

well done with the couple of fish mate i was in saleens yesterday fishing was poor up sticks and was going to head to rostoontown but went to other way towards kilfassery insted glad now after reading your report

when i think of rostoonstown, i think of weed

the only saving grace is there are a few east facing beaches not too far away you can fish - not great results but you wont be losing a trace every 2nd cast

also there are other beaches to the west that you could look at relatively quickly that may not be destroyed in weed either - yet!

give me a shout the next time ur coming to town i live 400 yards from beach ill give u the weed report

hard luck man. it gets to be soul destroying when the weed ruins a session :evil: :evil:
ending up spending more time clearing weed than fishing saps all the fun outta a session pretty quickly :cry:
