Report:
Another short trip to Kerry. Arrived down teatime on the Sunday and headed straight to beach to fish over low tide and firts couple of hours of flood. Three bass all in the 3-4 lb bracket. Monday morning i scouted about a few new marks in Tralee bay and decided i would try one of these that night in the hope of an early ray. Fished a few hours over low water but not a touch. Tuesday was the last day so i decided to fish three beaches from 1/2 tide on the ebb to half tide on the flood. Started on the first mark at 18.00 and fished it for a couple of hours into darkness, good surf and looked ideal but nothing. Moved to the second mark which was the beach i ahd fished the first night but the wind had changed and with little surf i wasn't to hopeful. Fished it for about and hour over low tide which is best at this mark and managed 1 small bass about 2lb. Moved to the last mark which i have always found fishes best a couple of hours into the flood. Nice surf rolling in so got etup and nothing for for the first 2 hours then 3 fish in 3 casts. another one about 2 lb and a pair of nice fish around 60cm and the biggest going just over 7lb. Finished up about 01.00 and started the long drive home.

you must have been knackered driving home at 1am all the way back up north  how long did it take you at that hour of the morning with no traffic about?

Thanks Al. Yes it was a tiring drive. I can do it in about 5 hours overnight. Already planning my next trip. Probably after Easter and before the ban but you never know if the conditions look good.

Ur making me sick F! Nice work! :-) must get over and fish it this time round. Esp if conditions are right. Was only saying to the lads we don't move about enough. Hard to leave a good mark though sometimes.

So I see Francis, we're down there early May, and will take a trip over to your mark if you dont mind..! :-)
Conditions permitting. But tides are spot on, will be low water early morn.

Im mainly going to concentrate on soft plastics for the weekend.
