carlsburg dont do irish mail order....

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

I'll give them a go and see how they do.Not before time that an Irish web based fishing tackle business arrived on the scene.

Bought a nice spinning reel last week from them - very good price and next day delivery.

Happy days.

they are all good jim but they are a bit dear compared to the uk mail order sites. quick tackle at the moment seems to be the only one to be able to compete! maybe they will get the others to step their game up.

I am not really sure how you can compare two of the best tackle shops in the country with a newly launched site that has a very limited, average quality stock??????

I wish the best of luck to the new venture but the tackle shops above have built there stock and reputation over many years, and to say this new site that has yet to make there reputation is the first and best, when it clearly is not is surely jumping the gun a bit.
UP THE DEISE!!!!!!!

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Have to agree with Jim and Rampent on the above, have dealt with Dan in halfway for a good few years and have to say he is top class and you can have a haggle with him on price as well
He had a superb selection of top class stock available, best of luck to the lads with the new venture but I'll stick with Dan.

There are three tackle shops i use in Dublin two of them are online. anything i buy is always cheaper than i would pay for in Veals where i used to get my gear. Anybody who walks into a tackle shop and pays the asking price is mad. :o
