Duration: 8-11:30

Tide: low

Weather: calm, cold.

Bait: Mackerel, squid.

Rigs: 2 and 3 hook flappers

Results: codling, whiting, pollock, coalie.

Report: Arrived at Greystones with my 13 yr old sister in law and met Eyes for the first time by chance got some tips and off we went, first fish was a small pin whiting, from there I caught a codling and a whiting on the same line, then few minutes later Lisa pulled out a lovely pollock, for the rest of the night we pulled out pin whiting, whiting and coalies often, not to be outdone eyes nabbed emself a nice pollock to end his night myself and lisa left about 11:30 and left Rodger the dodger behind with the whiting. First ever report picture of the pollock below.

Was nice to meet up with you all last night,,,,,,,,,,Sweetwrasse and Jack from the site were also there earlier. A beautiful mild night with plenty of bites from the start to finish. Well done to Lisa on a fine fat 35cm pollock,,,,,,, best fish of the night  and welcome to the fishing fraternity  . I had pollock, singles doubles and trebles of whiting, pouting, coalies and a scorpion fish Plenty of banter as usual

Might be a short spined allright, I think there is a rule about the spike being the bigger or smaller than the diameter of the fish's eye.

Nice fishing there MBuckley87. Glad you got some fish with the bait.
