#1 Post by Gary Morton »

People:Seirt,mark,gary

Duration:1 till 9.30

Tide:low 2high

Weather:tropical

Bait:lug,mac,crab,mussel,squid

Report:decided to hit prob my favourite venue alongside clones in Summer,to try and get mark a few different fish and away from the shallow beaches of Louth. We walked up 2 the containers at the point during day light and work our way back during the session :) have to say was a very slow haed days scratching out small fish and trying to get mark a few fish
which he did :D seirt caught the most and better variety so fair play to him who gave mark loads of advice throughout the day :)
2 rods (Small).JPG
the high light for me was on my last cast and I dropped a match trace of size 4B940m into the gutter and ready to reel in after packing my gear way a big splash out in front of my and rod hooped over to a good fish pulling way big time so loosened of the drag and beached this we beauty on mussel :?:
trout 1 (Small).JPG
And also hanging on the end hook was the nicest coloured flounder i have seen in a long time :D :D
troutflounder (Small).JPG
Just to let u no how big the trout was thats the large shakespeare box in the photo.
