fished this place today for the first time ever , i can accross it last year ,,, only managed one flounder nothing big,, but missed a big bite,,, last year while wading through the water i seen big flounder move from under my feet,, and kevin also that day seen some big turbot also.. today was not the right day to fish it with the east wind blowing but nothing else to do today.... i only had razor and sandeel ,, but lug i think would be the bait there.......

looks a cracker of a mark alan.cud be a few rays there too.i know a few marks back west mayo like this and have always fancied them.they might fish well at night but care has to be taken

hey im jus wondering, i stayed in connemara last summer with the missus for a couple of days and the place we stayed was called actons camp site, they had there own like little private beach and all round it was good little rocky spinning marks all along the coast for ages, and i was devistated i hadnt brought my spinning gear im jus curious if you know the place and if its any good, coz we could be going up there again and this time i will be prepared, looked good now for pollock bass etc....the usual suspects!!!!!!!

nice 1 on the flounder alan looks like a great mark worth checking out again
