Report:we had an informal meet to let a few interested lads meet up with us in daylight to see if we are less scary than at night time ,fishing was poor to say the least flat calm and bright  thanks too all the ecr members who bothered to fish with us and thanks to the potential new members who turned up,despite the poor fishing we had a bit of a chat and will hopefully see you on the beaches for some crac and MORE fish!a big thanks to big sod for commin back and collecting me after being called away for a medical emergency (kids who,d have em  )although i did have his gear so i knew he,d be back for his zippy
i will point out that young connor pulled in trebles and doubles while everyone else was blanking and wonder is it wise to allow people under 4 foot 6 to join the club ? but seen as denis is already in i think we have no option
Keith murphy from sai paid us a visit and even brought his little one down to throw stones (at us  ) he also brought his duelling gloves and gave me a good slap! why had a sai /ecr match not gone ahead ? well it will be and soooooon!

Nice to meet up with the lads. pity about the fishing. fair play to the lads getting some nice flats. thanks for dropping the bait down to us. tried everything to no avail. look forward to the comps later on in the year.

Not many fish but a good day, despite me having to make a dash to Crumlin childrens hospital after Dylan fell and got a nasty bump on his head :( but hes fine now and has an impressive bruise to impress the ladies  Thanks to the lads for turning up and Roger for holding the fort when I left, but i did bring him back Crisps, coke and Tobacco as a thank you
