Can u use a multiplier on a fixed spool rod???

It depends on how the rod is rung!!!.... The problem with using a multi on a fixed spool rod is the line will cross over and rub the blank because of the lack of rings, when reeling in. This should be avoided because of damage to the line and blank. If is rung with low rider guides there are usually enough to ensure the line does not touch the blank and this can be okay!..... On the other hand I have used a fixed spool reel with a multi rod for years and found no disadvantages however the purest would frown at this.
