nearly 650 fish landed last year at this event between 40 anglers with nobody blanking. looking well forward to this one!

This should be a great comp,looking forward to the league this year some great venues and more than likely a few good sessions!!! :D

Hi All,

Due to a mix up this competition did not appear in the Penn points fixture list in the January issue of the Sea Angler Mag, but i can confirm that Penn points will be available for this competition and the other 5 legs of the 2012 Irish Open Shore League.

A big thanks to the anglers who traveled to the first leg of the league in Ballyhealy Co Wexford.
Unfortunately weed made the fishing difficult on some sections of the beach but even in the tuff conditions there were still some good sized bags and some nice quality fish landed.

Zone A
1st - David Roche 15 fish 393 points.
2nd - Aidan O Halloran 16 fish 350 points
3rd - Brendan Wall 10 fish 345 points

Zone B
1st - Alan Mulcahy 21fish 619 points
2nd - Ian Knight 20 fish 537 points
3rd - Joe Duggan 15 fish 369 points

Zone C
1st - JP Molloy 24 fish 616 points
2nd - Martin Howlin 16 fish 492 points
3rd - Joe Byrne 16 fish 423 points

Longest flat - 32cm Flounder - David Roche.
Longest Round - 45cm coaley - John Watchorn.

Team - David Roche & Martin Howlin.

well done to muller who just pipped Jp .I fished this myself and enjoyed it immensly lots of quality coalies caught .

just to mirror what donal said fair play to cliff all the results were done and up 12 hours from getting the results also well done to the wexford lads great comp over 380 fish caught, looking forward to next leg in waterford from what i herd its fishing out of its skin
