Fishing in or near kenmare
I'm going to Templenoe on holidays in August; I know its a bit early to be asking, but has anyone on here fished in the area of Templenoe and Kenmare ? Any advice re hot spots, type of fish caught in summer, etc ?

Blackwater pier
Tony,
a very good mark to fish especially during the summer.This pier is about a 15 minute drive from Kenmare on the road to Sneem(the ring of Kerry route).Variuos spieces.Especially good spinning for seatrout as it is near the mouth of the river.To learn more see the shore marks on the home page of this website.
