People:11 of us
Duration: 6-10pm
Tide:dropping
Weather:brutal
Bait:rag mack frozen lug and crab
Rigs:varied
Results:man, what a night..... fish wise poor, only a few small coaie, whiting, shore rockling and flounder around.
it rarely eased up with rain, but the occasional gusts of wind which ripped along the beach out of nowhere were unreal.... at one point i was nearly blown off my feet, and some of you guys who know me will understand those were strong winds! a few rods and tripods went for unplanned trips, so did a guys seatbox which ended up in bits!
if anyone comes across the lid of a stanley tool chest in the area let me know, we scoured the beach for it but god knows where it ended up... the main part of the box was located 1/3rd the length of the beach away, went by me like something out of the movie twister!!!!
best fish of the night were flounders and shore rockling each of 26cm
good to get back out, its been a couple of months!

jeese phil, that sounds rough alright man
the same thing happened with liams seat box the last time we fished there.
that beach can be like the end of a wind tunnel with the big mountains either side behind you
