People:myself,pinky,MC

Duration:too long

Tide:from low tide to following low tide

Weather:ok to monsoon

Bait:lug,mack,squid

Rigs:double pullys + flappers

Results:myself 11 flounders 29cms - 35cms, 11 coalies 25cms - 35cms, 1 whiting 19cms
pinky 7 coalies 20 - 30cms, 8 flounder 20 - 39cms
MC 4 coalies ,3 flounder, 1 whiting ( not sure of they're sizes )

Report:
me and pinky headed to portsalon with MC coming at 9pm,ish,
got herself set up with the usual flapper rig to keep her going she cast it out and before i could get the reel out of the box i heard the screch turned round there she was coming up the beach with a 39cm flattie the biggest of the session ,
teresas 39cm flounder portsalon 27th [640x480].JPG
she then got another and another before i got a double shot and a single to draw level with herself.
the flatties just kept coming for the 2 of us great crack and all very good sizes very little undersize we did get som but not that many,
darkness fell early enough and the coalies appeared nice fish of 30cms and over good plump fish,

MC arrived late on but it was pouring down really wet and windy at this stage but we continued and we both kept on catching as the tide was on the drop again MC got a few smallish fish to start with then got some bigger stuff with a few coalies and a whiting with the rain easing somewhat we decided to pack up,

been a while since i've been out too so couldnt pass up the chance and derek had fresh lug. So once the wife was home from work i was away like a shot. Most fish where around 20cm, the whiting was about 15cm, the 2nd biggest was the coalie that took the bait before the rig hit the sea bed about 40cm, the next coalie after that was 45cm :o put up a good scrap too. the only dissapointment was when i removed my floatie coat and released it was leaking, time to reproof it, well its over 6years old
