Fisherman found in harbour named
The Coastguard in Scotland carried out 'extensive searches' for the missing fisherman, who was from Ireland
An Irish fisherman whose body was recovered from a Scottish harbour after he disappeared on Christmas Day has been named by police.
Philip Toland, 34, from County Donegal, was last seen near the pier in Ullapool harbour in the early hours of December 25, Northern Constabulary said.
The alarm was raised that evening and police, coastguard and the RNLI carried out "extensive searches".
His body was recovered from the harbour on Monday after the search resumed with the assistance of Grampian Police's dive team.
Police said that Mr Toland's family has been informed and investigations into the circumstances are continuing.
