Duration:8 till 9.50

Tide:full about 10

Weather:nice not cold :shock:

Bait:lug and crab

Rigs:cascade and pully

Results:3 flounder




Report:went down to the stream at the end of the driving range for a bit of chillout some one has stolen all the sand! :shock: the beach didnt start for a few hundred meters after the stream up by the football pitches :? set up on the rocks as i couldnt be bothered walkin that far :oops:
put out a pully for codling and a three hook in close for flounder ect.got 3 flounder in the first hour, two around 30 cm and one titch,WEED came on in ernest at 9 and i gave up after my mainline parted on my distance rod :| still it was a nice night and i didnt blank :D
judging by todays weather i,m glad i went last night!

nice 1 roger with the few flounder i had the same problem a few weeks back had to walk about 200 yards b4 i found sand but all i got when i cast was weed and snags

Not much wrong with a pair of 30cm flounder Roger, nice fish.
2013 Sea Species:- Bass, Flounder, 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Whiting, red gurnard, grey gurnard, Pollack, coley, mackerel, sea trout, cant remember cos I didn't update at the time.....
2012 Sea species:- Pollack, Coley, Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Sea Trout, Haddock, Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Red Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Corkwing Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Brown Trout caught on beach.
2011 Sea species:- codling, L.S. dogfish, coley, whiting, pollack(4lb 3oz), sea trout, shore conger eel (15lb), ballan wrasse, grey gurnard, plaice, dab (and lobster).
