End of year charity competition

#1 Post by Deleted User 3488 »

Just wondering would it be possible for the Admin to organise and end of year open shore competition, I'm sure it would command a good turn out, and give some of the less experienced anglers an opportunity to learn from their peers.

the admin and mods have plenty on the their plates managing this site

and no doubt plenty to do with their own clubs as competitions, accounts, results and reports for the year are being finalised

if you are an IFSA member you could organise a comp for the end of the year - but this is a notoriously difficult time to organise anything with other people having numerous commitments eg xmas related

SAI SAC have already been talking about putting something together for site members.(it may be a little late to do this before christmas but we will see) Watch this space.
UP THE DEISE!!!!!!!

If you can keep your head when all around you have lost theirs, then you probably haven't understood the seriousness of the situation.

Hey Monkey Wrasse not sure where your based but there has been a comp in Courtown the last couple of years in aid of the RNLI. In saying that I have not heard if it's on or not yet. It's normally the first week in January and a great chance to get out after stuffing yourself for Christmas. A lot of lads from the site fish it and it's a great day.

You will get great tips for the planning permission off the lads on the site here too. Join the club, it's the best thing I ever did and forces ya to get out fishing too.
