Hi Will,

In limerick city the shooting and fishing store and Limerick angling centre do stock them but these run do run out. KB baits frozen sand eel are good if not better. Doubt fresh peeler is stocked its usually only frozen velvet swimmers. Fresh mackerel is still available and is the mainstay of fishing baits in the Estuary. I'll be fishing carrigaholt this sunday in a comp and let you know how it goes.

Hi Will,

Whilst Michael Bourke may not stock Ammo Sandeels, I can vouch for his bait. The Sandeels he carries are of far superior quality to any I have purchased around the country. e only thing about them is size can vary from time to time but as far as freshness, firmness and quality, they are a great bait. Nice fella Michael by the way for anyone fishing the West Clare area, full of advice and hints etc and his shop is a real Aladdins cave.

Good luck with the trip, let us know how you get on, I havent fished West Clare in some months.

Pete
