morris castle

#1 Post by thelegend »

People:me and my friend ken

Duration:5pm til 10pm

Tide:rising
Weather:windy but no rain :D :D
Bait:lug ,maddies, razor,crab

Rigs:2 hooks clipped, pennel rigs, 2up 1 down

Results:me 7 flounders and 2 5 bearded rockling, ken 1 flounder

Report:been a long time since i have been able to fish due to injury and a baby :D :D , but here we go, the mark i would have liked to fish was full of weed so decided to head to morris castle, wasnt much weed there so we set up,i fished 2 rods and ken fished 1,i had one rod fishing as far as i could cast loaded with crab and lug in the vain hope of a cod or something nice, but to no avail, the inshore fishing was far better with lots of flounders and rocklings, it got better as the tide rose but we ran out of bait with ken catching a flounder last cast to save his blank,i enjoyed the nites fishing and glad to get out, ive pics on me camera of a treble of 2 flounder and 1 rockling, been that long i forget how to resize them lol, illput some up when i remember how, thanks to you all for all your posts that keep the less able of us going when times are bad and cant fish, i will get out again soon , just be paying for this one for a while haha, tightlines everyone and keepup the reports :D :D
