Gale Force Flounder. Thurs 17thNov

#1 Post by chuckaroo »

People: me

Duration: noon - 4pm

Tide: high

Weather: calm sea. continuous rain. getting very windy

Bait: rag, lug, mack, sandeel

Rigs: flappers

Results: tiny fish

Report: actually managed to get out for a few hours today. found a bit of shelter in Red Bay and gave it everything. cast at distance and tried at stops all the way in, then in all directions, everything coming back untouched. only success was right in front of me, about 6metres from the shore where the beach sloped down into the water. never been so glad to see a double-shot of tiny flounder.. managed to save the blank
