Waders leaking

#1 Post by Donagh »

My neopreone waders are leaking. Whats the best way of identifying where the leak is to repair it.

Donagh,

I know of one guy who actually fills his waders with water to spot the leak! hmmmm, interesting tactic you'll have to admit, it does solve his problem very well but then he spends the next 4 weeks drying em out:-)

Leak is in the crotch so it looks like I've drunk myself after fishing so I'll try anything :D
I was fishing for bass Monday and It was pain feeling the water trickle in when in the surf.

Fold them inside out then fill with water ,at least then its only the outside getting wet and you can see the leak on the inside (or is it the outside then)
or else put them on and sit in the bath

What i usually do is to go into a dark room and put a powerful torch down into the area where i suspect a leak. if should show up easily.
