Thought id try the pier for a quick one,weather was brutal with a strong north west breeze,not a hope of seeing a bite bait stripped every time,eventualy landed a tiny whiting,had the spinning rod set up with a float so put the bass rod away,i was casting out the back of the pier to see if there was any macks about,none ,so started casting close to the wall started to get bites,ended up with about 6 small pollack,all 1/2 pound,fished from 22:30 to 00:00
