Lure Fishing for Cod in Kerry
Does anyone know if there are any marks in Kerry or elsewhere that cod could be caught from the shore with lures or SP? Also what would be the best time of year for this?

A couple of lads had very good cod fishing using soft plastics on the beara peninsula last year. Species 2014: whiting, coalie, pouting, codling, pollack, ballan wrasse, dab, poor cod, mackerel, grey gurnard, conger, ling, cuckoo wrasse, launce, common skate, bass, scad, garfish, blue shark
