chest waders and suit

Hey guys
I now have all my rods/reels and most of my gear in order, however Im looking a set of chest waders and then a floatation suit in the coming month, Ive never even looked at these seriously any advice, price will make a difference as Im not looking to spend £200 pound on them but I still want some kind of quality.

I've a set of daiwa neoprene chest waders over three years now and their great . very comfortable , good grippy sole and reasonably priced. Be wary of waders if you fish over deep water because you Will sink like a stone if you fall in wearing them regardless of floatation suits

ive also a pair of these and they are a great job use them both for sea and river fishing

fladen flotation suit cheap warm waterproof and tough!the waders it depends what you want ,you cant afford good breathable ones but neoprean waders will be ok, if you want waterproof and dont need warm ones ocean waders will last years diawa waders split at the boot after a while as they are very thin, sonic are more expensive but will last a bit longer,have a set of grauvell ones 5 years they have just started leaking bass boots come highly recomended but would set you back over 200 notes!

Not true, as long as you are in the water they are no heavier than anything else you may be wearing. If fact they would not be as heavy as a pair of trousers. The problems start when you try to get out of the water. Climbing out of the sea into a boat would be nearly impossable.

unfortunately I know from first hand experience . I fell in the easkey river in sligo . I went clean on my back and water started to fill I was dragged by the current and couldn't get balance as water got in the back and was dragging me down luckily got hold of a bush and managed to get up . It took two lads to pull the waders off me as they were airlocked . I had the ordinary rubber chest waders on so not sure how neoprene would fair
