Excellent rod. Not an out and out rough ground rod and not super stiff. Has a nice tip for long distance fishing and I found that bite detection is also very good.
Will haul doubles of dogs all day and not rip your arms off when casting, very user friendly and (I am not a great caster - not even a good caster..
) and I get on great with the rod.

Have one myself and love it, really excellent rod, loads of power if required and a beautiful tip for showing bites at any range.
Cannot recommend this rod highly enough and I've pretty much had them all!!! Hows that!

Captain as you well know it's my number one but he didn't ask about that rod, I'll let you see it once more next Saturday if you're good.
