Ian golds extractor

At the suggestion of various members and given the magazines will run a mile from criticising a piece of kit, here is your chance to tell us what you really think about a rod, reel, line, lure... keep it legal please!

Excellent rod. Not an out and out rough ground rod and not super stiff. Has a nice tip for long distance fishing and I found that bite detection is also very good.
Will haul doubles of dogs all day and not rip your arms off when casting, very user friendly and (I am not a great caster - not even a good caster.. ) and I get on great with the rod.

Have one myself and love it, really excellent rod, loads of power if required and a beautiful tip for showing bites at any range.

Cannot recommend this rod highly enough and I've pretty much had them all!!! Hows that! :D
