People:Myself

Duration:8:30 to 10:00

Tide:incoming

Weather:calm after strong north easterly

Bait:lug mussel

Rigs:3hook flapper

Results: 2 whiting 1flounder

Decided id head down to the killiney area in search of bass. I just bought a new Penn powerstixpro which I was delighted with. I set up with lug and musseld and left the rods in the rest while I spun for bass. tHere were two lads in the best place spinning. I dont know how they got on but if they,re on the site id love a pm. Anyway to cut a long story short I ended up with two pin waiting and a palm sized flounder.
There no point in taking photos

Yeah I was disappointed to be honest. The whiting were no bigger than 10cm and the flatfish don't seem to be there in any great numbers!
