Magical Mayhem in Co. Wicklow.

#1 Post by Ashley Hayden »

Not having shore fished locally in a month and with bait left over I headed for a favourite mark. Possibly owing to the neaps it delivered slowly, no I'll rephrase that, "it didn't deliver at all", and then bam, http://bit.ly/oLDeqQ, a magical fifteen minutes so typical of smooth hound when they enter your swim.

Bait was lug and crab, with lug shading it two to one.

Yes it was fun. This particular mark always delivers "eventually". Two sets of gear out and only two hands isn't recommended though when hounds are about. That's two collapsed stands that I have witnessed within the last 10 days, a bass being responsible in the other instance.
