Tide: Me and Dave

Weather: lovely

Bait: crab, razor, mackeral, lures

Rigs: bottom, float, jig

Results: 15-20 pollock, rock ling

Report: We arrived at high tide. After we cast out our bottom rods Dave float fished while I used a sand eel jig on an ultralight rod. Pollock hit hard from the first cast. The water was ultra clear and they could be seen following the lure right to my feet. The average size was about 1lb but on the light tackle they were great sport. Dave caught a nice 2lb pollock on the float as well as several smaller. The bottom rods only resulted in a decent rock ling. Surprised by no doggies or wrasse despite very good bait. Great session with the weather.
