we hit black head on friday with high hopes of some good fish as the forcast looked good with light winds but when we got there the wind was blowing hard from the sth west but we gave it ago and maneged some good fish i had 3 fish in the space of 15/20mins and git had much the same with some good pollock up to about 5lb and then as the tide started to push the fishing went dead we fished till 6pm and then took a break for a hour to refill and relax
we went back at it from 7-10 with not much joy only picken up 1 more fish each so we went back to the tents for a few beers
we both woke early on the saturday so gave it ago for a hour and what a hour it was we had fish almost every cast or lost a fish i ended up with another 11 and gitsea had another 8 so we went home happy

DUBLIN
went out to dalkey last night to pass a few hours but fishing was very slow only had 1 bite and landed a nice conger of 12lb packed up at 9.45 and went home

Great conger, I've never had luck for conger in that spot.

Looking at the pollock is making me hungry, Roasted some I caught in Mayo a while ago and they're my favourite fish to eat without a doubt!

well done lads, nice to see a report for Blackhead 8) wasn't there for a while, being put off by the amount of litter left there by the usual suspects, seems they have moved further down now :(
