Did you used to catch them in the harbour? Ive read somwhere it used to be a great spot for mullet until the fishermen down there started feeding the seals!

The seals always ate the discarded catch ,but when the seals left on ebbing tide or boat finished sorting, the mullet mopped up what was on the bottom, but the boats are banned from sorting catch in the harbour now,a few still do it but nothing like it used to be,used to get them fairly handy then ,they do take bread but takes a while to get em feeding, they will take mussel on a float rig under the surface u need to see the bait very quick to strip bait or feel hook,im gonna try when water clears and weather settles,if its any good ill stick up a post
