lure fishing the surf

#1 Post by ATF »

Is there any merit lure fishing fishing a surf beach for bass....? trolling through many sites and there are some comments on fishing a lure into the surf but it doesnt seem to be the "done thing". Have seen a Henry Gilby vid on youtube where he fished a rubber shad through the surf - is there any merit in lure fishing the surf or should i just stick to the rocks??

I wouldn't disregard lure fishing the surf by any means.
