New beachcaster suggestions please? Fox or Greys

New beachcaster suggestions please? Fox or Greys

#1 Post by GetBass »

Morning all,

Just moved to donegal and hoping to really get into my sea fishing, been out a few times and have had some lovely wrasse and pollack with the usual dogfish providing good sport. My goal is to catch some rays and turbot.

Anyway Im on the hunt for a new rod to get distance.. and like the look of the fox frontier shoremaster its 13ft and £104.99, but Im open for suggestions there are also some nice greys rods about. My price would be approx up to £200.

http://www.fishingmegastore.com/fox-fro ... ~7819.html

Any suggestions would be really welcome, i would like something to punch out leads up to 6oz, 13-15ft, relatively light, but must have a fairly sensitive tip to see bites...

Thanks in advance..

Keith
