Interesting Observation

#1 Post by alby »

Just something my oul man pointed out to me regarding the much maligned waste water treatment plant in Poolbeg. I'm sure you've heard much in the news about the strange (sh*t) smells coming from the plant, well the smell is worse on a really warm day.

Recently I have been spinning at the red lighthouse in Poolbeg and somedays the mackeral and small pollack are hitting the spinners every cast and codling on crab, and other days you can't buy a bite. It turns out quite accurately that when the plant is really foul smelling (warm weather)the fishing is really good and when the smell isn't bad the fishing goes off.

It's really strange but it's prooving a great way to predict a good/bad session.
