Rock mark near Ballycastle Co Antrim

People:Myself

Duration:Only an hour

Tide:Falling

Weather:Mix of sun and cloud

Bait:Soft plastics

Rigs:

Results:Went out this evening for a quick chuck off the rocks man i'm glad i did!!! First cast straight into a nice pollock about 1.5lbs and from then on in it was nearly a fish a cast ended up with 15 pollock to around the 3 or 4 lbs sorry i have no pics but it was a very spur of the moment outing while the missus was at work :lol:

pans rock was it? i hear its good for spinning for pollock

excellent session by the way, i'd love to get a 4lb pollock some day

Yeah its the pans rock i was on good spot for spinning :D

Yeah we fished the rocks just past pans, towards marconi's house and caught good pollack.

Sounds like a bloody good pollack session, nice one.
2013 Sea Species:- Bass, Flounder, 5 Beard Rockling, Shore Rockling, Whiting, red gurnard, grey gurnard, Pollack, coley, mackerel, sea trout, cant remember cos I didn't update at the time.....
2012 Sea species:- Pollack, Coley, Mackerel, Cod, Bass, Sea Trout, Haddock, Plaice, Dab, Flounder, Red Gurnard, Grey Gurnard, Pouting, Whiting, Corkwing Wrasse, Ballan Wrasse, Lesser Spotted Dogfish, Brown Trout caught on beach.
2011 Sea species:- codling, L.S. dogfish, coley, whiting, pollack(4lb 3oz), sea trout, shore conger eel (15lb), ballan wrasse, grey gurnard, plaice, dab (and lobster).
